UX Design Site Mapping User Flows
Wireframing UX Specifications
The Lincoln Motor Company wanted a mobile app and responsive website to be the engagement points of a trial program for leasing customers. At the end of a lease, drivers could earn a refund or alternately owe a fee depending on whether the car is driven less or more than the contracted miles. This app and website would help lessees track their numbers in miles and dollars.
The challenge lay in how to visually represent the mileage and cost data in a simple and effective manner. The client provided a linear bar graph concept as a starting point, which Justin improved with a circular dial concept, created through an iterative process.
Eight different UX variations for the dial were created, evaluated, and 'hallway tested' on test users, before arriving at a final version which integrated multiple sets of data and states (under-miles and over-miles) into a single clear design.
Sitemap spanning initial enrollment online, downloading the app, to sign-in and use of the app.
